If you\u2019re lucky enough to spend summer or spring in the city, soak up the sun on one of the myriad beaches, catch a show at a renowned theatre, or do your best to pick from the almost endless delicious restaurants \u2014 read on for even more ideas!<\/span><\/p>\n

Islands<\/h3>\n

On Lake Ontario and easily accessible from the city are a small chain of islands known as the Toronto Islands, each one with its own unique beaches, picnic areas, and more. If you\u2019re bringing the kids, check out the\u00a0<\/span>Centreville Amusement Park<\/span><\/a> on Centre Island where you\u2019ll find rides, a mini train around the park, mini golf, and more. If you\u2019re in search of sandy shores, take in skyline views while sunbathing on Centre Island Beach, make your way to the city\u2019s only nude beach at Hanlan\u2019s Point, or skirt the crowds and take a short bike ride to Gibraltar Point.<\/span><\/p>\n

Beaches<\/h3>\n

Back on the mainland, you\u2019ll continue to find beach havens to soak up the sun. Hop into \u00a0a game of beach volleyball or badminton at the expansive\u00a0<\/span>Woodbine Beach<\/span><\/a>, or rollerblade along the boardwalk at\u00a0<\/span>Sunnyside Beach<\/span><\/a>. Now that baseball season is off and running, you can\u2019t go wrong \u00a0taking in a Blue Jays game at\u00a0<\/span>Rogers Centre<\/span><\/a>, home of the only Canadian team in the league. To slake your appetite, snack on sausage poutine at Toronto Street Eats, or sample the truffle-parmesan fries at MYM Gourmet Frites. Theatre<\/h3>\n

Toronto is a hub for Broadway tours, and by catching them outside the Big Apple itself, you\u2019ll save yourself a pretty penny on admission. From\u00a0mouthwatering street eats to multi-course fine dining, Toronto\u2019s vibrant restaurant scene leaves little to miss.
