We’re thrilled to share that since 2016, Turo hosts in Canada have earned over $300 million on the platform!
To keep the momentum going this summer, stay up to date on recent and upcoming changes designed to help you grow your business. In this issue, you’ll learn about improvements to the booking experience, airport trip enhancements, pricing strategies for longer trips, and more!

Improving bookings from start to finish
From simplified pricing displays to clean and consistent listings, these upcoming changes help guests move quickly from browsing to booking your car.

COMING SOON
Simplified daily pricing in price breakdowns
Today, guests worldwide see transparent prices upfront, so they always know the total trip price including Turo fees. Starting July 28, the daily prices that guests see in price breakdowns will include the delivery fee to further focus on what matters to them when they’re comparing cars: the total price.
While the “free delivery” tag will no longer appear in search results, pricing tools can help you set competitive prices that stand out in search results to help drive demand, and free or low-cost delivery will still be a factor in boosting your search ranking.
COMING SOON
Updated vehicle listings to help boost bookings
Starting July 28, vehicle listings will have a new, clean look to simplify guests’ browsing experience and help increase bookings.
The vehicle description and guidelines sections will be removed to create cleaner, more consistent listings to help guests book with confidence. And Turo now highlights key rules and vehicle features so you don’t have to. FAQs and parking info will just be in “Trip details” for guests’ easy reference after they’ve made the booking.
COMING SOON
Enhanced host profiles highlight your vehicle availability
Soon, your host profile will put your entire vehicle portfolio front and center. Guests will be able to search for availability across all of your cars at once, and book a trip directly from your profile page.
We’ll notify you once your enhanced profile is available. Then, simply share your profile link to attract new guests or to give returning guests a fast and easy way to book with you again.

Tap into travel demand at airports
Airport trips tend to be longer, booked earlier, and have fewer incidents, making them some of the best types of trips for hosts.
Here are the latest updates to help you better attract these types of travellers.

Make free delivery at airports work on your terms

You now have more control over when and where you offer free delivery. Set a minimum trip length when free delivery is included, with the added flexibility to adjust it for each of your delivery locations individually.
By including free airport delivery for a minimum trip length, you can tap into strong airport demand while keeping trips profitable.
COMING SOON
Manage all your location settings in one place
An all-new “Locations” view allows you to easily review your settings for each of your delivery locations at a glance.
Soon, you’ll be able to quickly make changes to many of your location-based settings from this page, like turning delivery on or off by location, selecting which vehicles to deliver to each location, and adjusting delivery fees by each location individually. These updates will make it quick and easy to edit your airport delivery settings in one place.
NEW REQUIREMENT
Add a pickup location for seamless airport trips

Starting July 23, adding a pickup location will be required for all deliveries at permitted airports.
This feature streamlines trip coordination and creates a more consistent airport delivery experience for guests. Get ahead by saving some basic details of the parking locations you frequently use at airports in your “Location & delivery” settings today.

Make the most of longer bookings
Weekly and monthly trips help boost under-performing cars, have less turnover when you’re busy, and are less likely to have claims.
Take advantage of growing demand for weekly and monthly bookings with these improvements.

Round-up of monthly trip pricing improvements
A number of bold changes have recently been made to monthly trips to help maximize your profitability, while also offering competitive, inclusive pricing for guests to help increase demand for longer bookings.
- Recommended monthly discounts were reduced from 60-70% to 45% with a paired distance limit of 2,700 km to help boost hosts’ earnings. Hosts can earn an average of $757 per month with the 45% discount — that’s 39% higher earnings than with the old 60% discount.
- Turo stopped charging trip fees for monthly bookings in most markets since March 2025, to help make pricing for longer trips more competitive.
COMING SOON
Easily manage weekly discounts while helping to reduce wear and tear
New, simpler-to-manage weekly discount settings are designed to help you price more competitively to get more seven to 29-day bookings. Unlock a new, lower weekly distance limit to help reduce wear and tear by optimizing your weekly discounts.

Take the guesswork out of earnings for longer trips
We’ve heard feedback that hosts want to know upfront how much you’d earn for longer trips. A new interactive feature recently launched, showing your estimated take-home earnings with weekly and monthly discounts, to help you decide what’s right for your business.
OUT NOW
New clarity around monthly trip maintenance
Now, hosts can ask their guests to take care of routine maintenance during longer trips. Oil changes, tire rotations, wiper blade replacements and fluids, coolant, and air filters for the engine or cabin are all examples of routine maintenance.
After the host requests the basic maintenance, the guest has two weeks to take the car to the shop. The host approves the shop, authorizes the work, agrees to the cost, and pays.

A new high price alert helps you price competitively

To help you attract more guests, a new high price alert will highlight dates in your calendar when your prices are 20%+ higher than the price recommended by dynamic pricing. By adjusting these prices to be more competitive, you’re more likely to meet guest demand and get more bookings.

Gray market policy updates
We’ve made updates to the gray market transaction policy that clarify if and when third-party channels are acceptable for payments between guests and hosts, and when they’re prohibited.
All violations will be reviewed, and can lead to voiding your protection plan for the trip in question, and may result in removal from Turo.
