Welcome to the first issue of the seasonal release, a quarterly roundup of recent host improvements and changes for Turo hosts, and a sneak peek of what’s coming up!

Introducing dynamic pricing to help maximize your earnings

Starting later this summer, it will be easier for all Turo hosts to price competitively and maximize their earnings, thanks to dynamic pricing, a new and improved pricing algorithm that will replace Automatic Pricing.
Designed by our data scientists, dynamic pricing will continually adjust your prices based on local market data and other factors. Once dynamic pricing has launched, all hosts will see their prices updated to the dynamic pricing recommendations tailored to each vehicle. Rest assured, you’ll still be in control. While dynamic pricing will be the new default price, you’ll be able to change prices using the calendar in the “Trips” tab to fit your utilization goals. We’ll give you plenty of advance notice before this change happens.

Current pricing experience

Dynamic pricing and price adjustments will be viewed and managed on the calendar
As part of this update, the vehicle calendar will be removed, and instead, the calendar in the “Trips” tab will offer a centralized place to manage your entire portfolio, including viewing dynamic pricing, and managing pricing, trips, and vehicle availability.

Automate your Tesla charging reimbursements

Hosts with Tesla vehicles can now easily review their guests’ supercharging sessions and request reimbursement, right from the Turo app, saving time and energy. Connect your Tesla account to Turo today to try it out.

New permissions for your hosting teams

Now hosts can give their co-hosts permission to manage pricing and availability as well as trips.

When you invite your co-hosts to a hosting team, they can use their own logins to access the info they need while keeping your sensitive info private.

Co-hosts can be anyone who helps you run your business, such as friends, family members, employees, or other Turo hosts.
