Buses 842 and 843 can take you from Yass to Canberra CBD on the South East and Tablelands Network. Note that Opal card is not accepted.

Getting a train from Yass to Canberra

There is no direct train route between Yass and Canberra on NSW Trainlink. But, there are train services that run east towards the town of Goldburn before heading to Canberra city centre.

The total journey takes a little over 8 hours.
