Take a look at all the latest features and updates designed to help you stay booked and earning during the winter season.

Facilitating international trips

Earn while speaking their language

Communicate with guests from around the world in 20+ languages through automatic message translation built right into the Turo app.

Introducing flight tracking

Airport delivery just got easier. No more asking guests for their flight information. When a guest adds their flight details in the app, you’ll receive a notification. You’ll see their flight number as well as their departure and arrival airports. Track their flight with a single click, up to 24 hours before the trip for smooth vehicle handoff.

Take advantage of hotel bookings

Guests can now find hotel locations more easily thanks to improvements to hotel search. As a result, hotel searches have doubled.

Enable custom delivery to automatically appear in hotel-area searches and help more guests discover your vehicles.

A community platform, just for hosts

Circle is a dedicated online community platform, exclusively for hosts.

Australian hosts can ask questions, share tips and feedback, receive early updates directly from the Turo Australia team, attend virtual office hours and community events, and connect with other hosts – all in one place.

The platform is just for Australian hosts and the local Turo team, so you’ll only get content and updates relevant to you.

Capture longer trips

Want longer trips? New minimum-duration discounts, updated discount stacking logic, and additional shortest-trip options work together to help you capture longer trips while protecting your margins.

Review your discount and minimum trip length settings to make sure they’re working for your business.

A smarter approach to combining discounts

You told us that overlapping discounts were too aggressive.

So, we’re changing the logic to be multiplicative: Base Price × (1 – Duration Discount) × (1 – Non-Refundable Discount).

This ensures a 10% and 40% discount combined results in a 46% total discount, rather than 50%.

It’s a fairer calculation that protects your margins.

Fairer discounts when trips are extended

Where previously guests were able to extend a trip and receive a higher discount on the full booking, this has changed.

Now, when a guest extends a trip, the discount is proportional to the number of extra days they book – not the full trip. This ensures they don’t get bumped up to the next discount tier.

The purpose of this change is to ensure a fairer outcome for hosts.

Faster and more accurate mileage incidentals

If you take odometer photos at check-in and check-out, we’ll automatically pull that data into your additional distance charge. Review the numbers, hit confirm, and get paid for the kilometres you’re owed. If you don’t take odometer photos, you can still submit the charge manually.

Match tolls to trips more easily

Turo’s new Toll Matching Tool makes it much easier to link toll charges to trips and request reimbursements.

Simply upload your CSV from your toll provider (Linkt or E-Toll), your Turo host earnings CSV, and use the “Linker” file to connect the data and match different trips.

You’ll also find detailed step-by-step instructions on the Toll Matching Tool page.

Invoice monthly trips before they end

For monthly trips longer than 60 days, you’ll soon be able to send incidental invoices during the trip instead of waiting until it ends.

You’ll also be able to track every invoice for a reservation in one place with the new Invoice Hub, no matter the trip length.
