My reservation for this vehicle started at 10 AM, they were on their way to the arranged delivery spot at 10 and keys were handed over at 10:20 AM. Owner was removing clutter and items from vehicle as I walked up to them, handed over car in less than appropriate conditions with a wet passenger seat, dirt and debris in both driver and passenger foot wells and a broken rear passenger tail light. Key handoff lacked any sort of discussion on vehicle's attributes or possible issues, owner was aiming to leave as soon possible.

These grievances wouldn't typically be enough for me to grant such a low rating but the one crucial element that was not mentioned whatsoever was that the vehicle had an expired registration. The truck's tags were due in June '24 and I rented this in December '24. Very irresponsible to hand off truck with expired tags.

Vehicle return proved to be worse than initial delivery. Return was scheduled at 10 AM following day, owner arrived nearly 1.5 hours late, had been messaging with suggestion of leaving keys in unguarded compartment of truck's bed. I did not follow suggestion out of abundant caution but was extremely displeased already by the expired tags, late delivery, general condition upon delivery and now the late return.

Owner seems to have additional vehicles available to rent on their profile, would not recommend reserving any vehicles on basis of character. I was prepared to overlook some aspects in basis of price but issues such as an expired registration were clearly against Turo's policy. Would not rent this vehicle or any other owner may offer.

Truck was exactly what was advertised. Christopher had great communication, even brought me a different truck when I needed to extend my stay and this one was umcurrently booked.

Everything was fast and easy. Highly recommend!
