Cleanliness: I understand that sand is unavoidable, but please keep it to a minimal. To quote a great Master, “I don’t like sand, it's coarse and rough and irritating and it gets everywhere.” Per Turo policy, there is a $50 cleanup charge for odor and $150 for smoking, if necessary.

Delivered on-time, picked up on time. A little bummed gas tank was not full when I got the car but it was returned filled up. Easy to work with.

The Pick-Up and drop-off was easy- it is in a pretty hidden dimly lit area, so I don’t recommend late night drop-off as a solo traveler! The car photos don’t show some of the defects or wear and tear of the vehicle so do your due diligence when taking photos prior to departure. Despite trying several cords, the Apple CarPlay didn’t work, which wasn’t a huge deal just a little inconvenient. I would say the most alarming thing is that when you would come to a stop and then go again the car sounded like it was dying, it is a hybrid so we were familiar with the shut-off type feature, but it seemed like it was having a really hard time, and the car would shake and kind of jolt. Also, the driver requires premium gas, maybe this is customary but this was our first time using turo, so be prepared to pay that!
All in all it got us from point A to point B… just with some minor annoyance and inconveniences….
