First off, we were searching for the vehicle for over an hour and tried to contact the owner and the calls were going straight to voicemail, no response on the app and the txt messages were not going through. At 10a I finally get a response and the owner said the car was getting fixed because of a nail in the tire and won’t be available for pick up til 1120 when originally it was supposed to be pick up of 9a. We needed a car seat so we were unable to get in an Uber and go somewhere so we just sat in the airport for over 3hrs after landing waiting for the car to be ready. When I asked to cancel the ride he said the driver was already on the way and declined to cancel the trip. When we finally got the car, the very back row was dirty with crumbs, what seems to be pills of ibuprofen or something. The trunk did not fit anything other than the stroller so we all had to carry our carry on in our laps. Overall, I’m really disappointed that this was our first Turo experience and it sucked and ruined our day 1 plans since we didn’t make our 12p reservation because we’re waiting on the car that we didn’t even know was in the shop so the communication was terrible and we did not get the car til 1152p so yeah don’t waste your time because you might not be able to get the car til the owner feels like it.

He offered to give us a 10% discount and paid the $5 parking fee but at that point it felt more like a slap in the face than a convenience

We were 100% happy with our experience with the Audi Q7 we booked. Car was fantastic and pick up and drop off were super easy. Communication was excellent and we would absolutely rent again.
