This was my worst Turo experience ever. The car broke down 500 km from home. It took me two days of attention in order to get it running again. I incurred a bunch of taxi expenses that I hadn’t budgeted for. It was very stressful and I may consider never renting with Turo ever again. Because of this. Serge, the owner of the car told me he would compensate me but never did. I would certainly not recommend renting with him.
I’m sorry for the stress this caused. I quickly arranged repairs at the mechanic you went to in Toronto, had the parts delivered, labor payed for, and the car was fully fixed the same day so you could continue your trip. We agreed on a 1-day refund for the inconvenience, but after the trip you requested a full refund instead. I understand how frustrating unexpected issues are but I did everything I could to help resolve it quickly and fairly.

This Santa Fe was okay. The sunroof didn't work and the front brakes made noise but the host is aware of this. Will get you from point A to point B. Serge is a great host tho :)

The host was great! However the car quality was unexpected. The window was cracked and the side mirror as well. The sunroof did not want to shut at one point. If I would have known I probably would have rented another car that the host had. The host responded quickly.

Car quality was mediocre to what I had in mind for a Sante Fe Sport. I was very intrigued at the time of booking for the moonroof feature, only for it to malfunction and hurt me when opening for the first time. There were a few cosmetic issues with the car as well that we’re not seen through the pictures. I only needed the vehicle to attend a wedding and was hoping for something a little more spacious and accommodating than my car and it did not uphold the standards that I had in mind. Although the host was very understanding and cordial with the time adjustments, the car itself did not uphold to the standard that I needed. There were also issues with the gas gauge which led me to over fueling the vehicle upon my return, which is annoying. Other than that, I personally wouldn’t book this particular vehicle/listing again, but nice host.

I’m sorry for the stress this caused.
