• How will the car be dropped off and picked up?

  We will coordinate and mutually agree at least 12 hours beforehand on the dates/times and places to drop off and pick up the vehicle. For example, if you are arriving at the San Diego airport at 12 noon on a Friday, I can be available to meet you curbside with the car at 12 noon on Friday. I will give you the keys and you can drive wherever you are headed straight from the airport. For dropoff, for example, if you need to be back at the airport on the following Monday at 12 noon, I can be available to meet you curbside at the arrival of your airlines, given you provide that information to me. To avoid confusion at the airport, we would ideally meet at my house located only 10 minutes from the airport, and I will happily drop you off at the airport. I am happy to discuss over a phone call if there are any further questions or clarifications on pick up or drop off :) My goal is to make this as easy as possible for you and your travels!

• What will the gas tank be filled at and how should I return the vehicle with gas?

  I will surely provide the vehicle filled with at least 1/2 a tank full of regular gas. I will take a photo record of the gas level upon pickup and at dropoff. Please return the vehicle with the same level of gas that was provided to you. For example, if at vehicle pickup, the gas tank is at 3/4 full, please return the vehicle with 3/4 full. Otherwise, please be mindful that there will be a request for compensation for gas based on local current gas prices. A full tank is estimated ~400 miles. For example, 3/4 full gas tank is 300 miles, and the miles per gallon on my vehicle is on average 38mpg. At a local current gas price of $4.30, compensation for 3/4 full gas tank will be 300 miles divided by 38mpg, multiplied by $4.30 per gallon = $33.95.
