Disappointing Experience – Poor Communication and Vehicle Issues
My entire trip was a mess, starting from pickup. I was kept waiting for an hour at the airport because my vehicle wasn’t ready. Kwan did try to make up for it by giving me a ride to meet the car halfway, which I appreciated.
However, on the second day of my rental, the battery died, leaving me stranded. I had to sleep in the car overnight with no response from the host despite multiple calls. I only got help the next morning when they gave me tips to jumpstart the battery—something that seemed like a recurring issue, meaning the car wasn’t properly maintained.
To make matters worse, I had to take the host’s vehicle to the dealership myself to get it fixed and was left without a replacement or compensation. The whole experience was horrible and completely ruined my trip.
We're disappointed to hear about your experience, but after reviewing the situation, it's clear that the issues were caused by your actions. Leaving the map light on in the new Corvette resulted in a dead battery while parked at a nightclub. You called us at 1 AM but didn't request roadside assistance. We had to call for a tow at 5 AM to get the vehicle to the dealership for a drained battery.
Turo did attempt to find a replacement vehicle for you, despite it being a holiday weekend.
