Fog can occur near coastal areas; use low beam headlights and reduce speed when visibility is poor. Always check weather forecasts before setting out, especially for longer trips. Be particularly cautious on bridges and overpasses, which can freeze before other road surfaces. In all conditions, maintain a safe following distance and adjust your driving to the weather.
