How do I operate the charge port?
1. Open the charge port from the car’s touchscreen 2. Press on the port cover when your car is unlocked. 2. Hold the Tesla charging connector close to the charge port, push the button on the Tesla charging connector to open your charge port. Notice the color of the Tesla "T" logo in the charge port. White color indicator means your car is ready for charging. After plugging in, a blue color indicator means your car is preparing to charge. When the indicator is flashing green, charging is in-progress.
How do I pay for charging the car?
If you use the Tesla supercharger, you’ll receive an invoice of the costs, at the end of your trip. Part of the ease of using the Supercharger network is how the car's owner is tied to the owner's Tesla account. The charging session is automatically charged to the car owner's Tesla account.
How do I charge the car?
The fastest and easiest way is to use the Tesla Supercharger network. The car's map display will show all the Tesla chargers. Just search for the term "supercharger". 1) Drive to supercharger 2) Open charger lid 3) Plug in. 4) Unplug when desired or until it reaches full. More information on charging, go here: https://www.tesla.com/support/charging There are other charging options that are non-Tesla chargers. There is an adaptor placed in the trunk of the car that allows the vehicle to charge at non-Tesla chargers.
