Our pickup location is behind a quiet and safe office building in an industrial plaza just a few minutes from I-95 and Melbourne Airport. We have plenty of parking, and invite our guests to use our "Liftoff Lounge" if they need to wait for a ride after returning their vehicle. At Liftoff we are dedicated to electric transport. We share our fleet of electric vehicles on Turo, and also offer rentals of personal electric vehicles like eBikes, eScooters, and Onewheels to help you get around earth on space-aged wheels.

- Rules - Our main request is that you drive safely and respectfully, to never smoke in the car, and try not to leave the car sitting for extended periods of time with the battery below 10% or above 90%, as this reduces the battery life. - FSD Misuse Fee - Tesla's Full Self-Driving feature is meant to be supervised and does not make the vehicle fully autonomous. Misuse of this feature can result in serious injury or death. Guests will be charged a $100 fee for receiving an FSD suspension. This is to cover the inconvenience and loss of functionality for the host and future guests. FSD suspension results from receiving five Forced Autopilot Disengagements (when the system shuts off due to inattentiveness). Behaviors leading to suspension include repeatedly ignoring alerts, not maintaining control, or unsafe operation. Each strike takes us 7 days to recover from, so misuse of this system has a serious impact on the experience of other guests. Please drive responsibly to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone. - Child Safety - We offer Britax brand car seats and booster seats (high back or backless) as a complimentary extra for those traveling with younger crew mates. Our safety seats are rarely asked for and lightly used. We promise they won't be gross.

• How do I charge it?

  The navigation shows the location of various Tesla Superchargers, and will automatically add Supercharger stops when your destination is far enough to require charging. Once at a Tesla Supercharger, press the circle on the handle at the end of the charging cable to open the charge port. Plug in the charging cable to begin charging. Payment is handled though the owner's account, and you will be sent an invoice for Supercharger use at the end of your trip. Please note that use of the Tesla Supercharger network is only slightly cheaper than traveling in a gas vehicle, and can cost as much as $200 for every 1000 miles.

• What cables and/or adapters are in the car?

  This car includes a Tesla Mobile Connector with a regular household plug adapter and a NEMA 14-50 plug adapter. Also included is a J1772 adapter, which allows you to slow charge from many non-Tesla chargers.

• Can I pickup/return at Orlando International Airport (MCO)?

  At this time we only offer airport deliveries to Melbourne Orlando Airport (MLB) here in Melbourne.


• Can I pickup/return at Port Canaveral?

  Delivery to the port is offered on a limited, first-come-first served basis. Delivery for 1-day port excursion trip: $100 Multi-day rental with delivery and return to Port Canaveral: $60
