Guidelines
This is a privately owned family car that is been used for family of 4 with 2 little kids.. We take good care of the car for our own use and expect our guests to do the same. We always clean the car properly with extra efforts so that the guest feels safe and comfortable. so it is expected and fair that guest returns the car in the same condition. There is absolutely NO SMOKING in the car. NO pets are allowed in the car. If you have a child travelling with you that needs a car seat or booster. please reach out to the host and we will try to arrange one one for you (based on the availability) If you are taking it for a picnic, we will be happy to provide you with ice cooler and chairs for free (based on the availability)
Faqs
What if i don't have my original driver license at the time of Pickup
Due to security concerns, guest is required to show the ORIGINAL driver license. Picture or a copy of license will not be accepted as a proof. Unavailability of original license can cause delay in trip or even cancellation on guest's responsibility.
What if i didn't return the car cleaned
- It is ok to return the car without having it cleaned, if light cleaning is required - For heavy cleaning like large stains, food on the seats, left over food on the floor, some additional cleaning charges may incur
Does the car have toll tag
Car is equipped with toll tag. you are welcome to use toll/express roads during your trip. Those transactions will be billed to you after the trip with NO Additional charges
Can i have pets in this car
Pets are NOT allowed
Can i smoke in the car
All cars on the TURO platform are smoke free. Guests can be charged $250 for smoke violation
Can i extend the trip
You are welcome to extend the trip, as long as it is available.
What if i need Airport drop-off or Pickup only
Please coordinate that with the host
What if i am running late
We understand that there could be unplanned events that can alter the plans. You should coordinate the late arrival with the host. Please communicate it with the host.
What if i didn't get time to fill the gas to the same level
Guests are required to return the car at the same gas level. incase of shortage of that level, TURO charges additional $10 convenience fee.
