No Smoking or any type of marijuana smell is allowed in the car. If there is any lingering smell, we will report to Turo and charge in excess $150 for detail and cleaning services. Although car is pet friendly, please clean up and pet hair or remnants or there will be $150 cleaning fee assessed.

Is there smoking permitted in the car?
NO SMOKING! If there is any lingering smell cigarette, marijuana, vaping smell we will report to Turo. Turo can charge in excess $150 for detail and cleaning services.
Does gas need to be filled? What octane gas do I use?
Car will usually come with a full tank of Unleaded 87 gas. Please return it at same fuel level fuel. Please note travelers are responsible for bringing back the vehicle with the same gas level as when it is picked up, as per Turo policy. If not filled, it would be actual cost of gas + $10 inconvenience fee.
Do we have to clean the car when returning?
Customer is not expected to clean or disinfect the vehicle before returning. However, if the vehicle is in a condition that only could have been caused by irresponsible or abusive behavior, we will report to Turo. Turo customer support will then review the evidence and charge a cleaning violation of $150 and possible removal from Turo. Will car come activated with toll pass?
Car will have license plate that is registered with the toll roads that is accessible at all toll roads and bridges. We will ask for reimbursement at end of trip and payable via Turo app.
Do you offer car seats?
We offer car seats for all ages. Please select the extra for the amount of car seats needed. When picking up the car, please remind agent of the car seats needed - Due to liability reasons, we cannot install car seats for customers. It is customer responsibility to install carseat
GPS is marked as available amenity. Does it mean it is built in?
The GPS is not a built in GPS, GPS are rented separately just as you would do on a baby seat.

The rental car broke down at a really critical point—when we were to return the car on the way to the airport— and my friend and I missed our flight because of it. No one from LAauto showed up for us even though we were 12min away from their location. It took over 3 hours for the tow truck to show up. Communication between LAauto, Turo, the tow company, and I was extremely stressful and overly complicated. Terrible experience. I will not be renting from LAauto ever again. I’m still waiting for a refund from Turo or LAauto for the flight we missed as well as the Lyft ride we had to take to catch the next flight.

These guys know what they are doing quick and efficient pick up and drop off. Car was a bit sketchy as the alternator or battery seems to be going out.

Car was great, took us from A to B safely on Oahu. Able to extend trip with ease, and easily communicate with host once we picked up the vehicle. Good to note, breaks squeaked frequently and the centre console looked melted. Which was not shown in pictures. Also had trouble picking up the car—advertised as an airport shuttle but poor communication led to us having to Uber. We were told we’d be reimbursed for this, however we hadn’t received it.

First time using Turo and outside of the person I chose to rent from the experience was good. Easy process to sign up and get a car.
For the rental I chose a few issues - The tank wasn't full when I picked it up but it was when I returned it. No refund for the difference in gas.
The car didn't start at one point and took three tries before it turned over. The point of renting the car was to have a car to drive around and site see. When the car takes three tries to start it defeats the purpose of renting a car seeing as you're now concerned you're going to be stranded somewhere. Used the apps contact method, sent a text to let them know about the car not starting and never heard back. Between the gas, the unreliability of the car, and the lack of response I would have been better off going to a car rental facility.
