This was an awful experience. We picked up the car and it smelt like someone had chain smoked 4 packs of cigarettes with the windows up and masked with little trees car air fresheners. We were staying 35-45 min away and nothing could be done for us unless we took the car back. There were no other car La available for us through this host. Host never mentioned to us or gave us any warning about the smell before we picked it up. Otherwise we would have cancelled and found alternative transportation. Everyone we got out of the vehicle we smelled. I highly suggest you do NOT rent from this host, or at least not this specific car. Communication goes a long way… this all could have been avoided if the host was upfront about the issue. When I messaged him about the issue he knew about it and said he did the best he could at getting the smell out. Very disappointed with the whole experience.

Car was great ran smooth and really good on gas hope to book again

Car looked great, but had engine issues. Would stutter and stalled while driving. Host said he fixed it first day and worked while I drove it for about an hour, but then next day same issues, car stalled half a dozen times on the 8 miles drive to return it. Lost 2 days of my vacation and Host/Turo still charged $100 despite me contacting Turo on first day to report the issue.

I addressed the problem right after your message and thought it was resolved. The vehicle has since been fully serviced to make sure this doesn’t happen again.
