The BMW M240i takes the fun chasis of the 2-series to the next level with the infamous B58 engine, ZF 8 speed AT, and RWD. Plus the power convertible roof lets you soak in the sun and ocean breeze. With almost 400 horsepower, this ultimate driving machine is no slouch. This engine is also featured in several other M-Performance cars and the Toyota Supra, most famously. Please note: the rear seats are not ideal for tall adults on longer trips. Trunk space is also limited due to the convertible roof. Some larger suitcases may not fit. 91 Octane or higher premium gas is required. Receipts may be requested for proof. Regular gas is not worth the savings - you’ll notice the performance degradation anyway. Absolutely no smoking or vaping allowed. $250 penalty will be charged. The convertible roof may only be opened and closed when at a stop. It takes 22 seconds - time it wisely 😉 Please do not drive to Meat Cove. The road is not in suitable condition for a sports car.

Car was in great shape and was very memorable to drive the many windy roads on the Cabot Trail. Pick up and drop-off was seamless with very clear instructions and Cameron was always available to answer questions during the rental.

Car pick up was about 30 minutes late but host communicated about the hangup and clearly set expectations. The car was fantastic. Handles well and convertible top goes up and down fast. Seats were very comfortable even for a large 6’ 3” person. Perfect car for the Cabot Trail.
