• What's your definition of a "professional car wash"?

  The easy answer is to take it to a car wash cafe or professional car wash to have them clean it inside and out (external and vacuum). It should cost around $50. A self wash at a car wash bay (eg high pressure hose and brush/scrub) is NOT ACCEPTABLE because those brushes can scratch the paint and cause damage. An automatic tunnel wash could be acceptable if the car isn't very dirty to begin with and it's just dusty, but you'll still need to do your own vacuum. However, if we inspect the car and it's not quite up to professional car wash standard (essentially meeting a renter's expectation of a clean car), then you may be charged a fee to have the car washed again.

• How do I charge the Tesla?

  There are a few options, but by far the easiest is to use the Tesla Supercharger Network. These come up in the car's navigation system, so they're pretty easy to find and navigate to. Once you arrive, just plug in and it will automatically bill your Personal Tesla Account. A cheaper alternative is to use third party charging networks (eg Jolt, Chargefox, etc). You can find these using the PlugShare app. These third party chargers are usually cheaper, but you'll need to create your own account to use them. (NOTE: some of these chargers require you to have your OWN Type 2 charging cable. This is NOT included with the car, so be careful to not select these charging stations) And lastly, there will be a regular power plug charger in the car. You can plug this into any normal power outlet and charge. However, this is VERY SLOW (at around 2% battery charged per hour). NOTE: Please don't use an extension cable because they are rarely rated to handle this level of power flow for long periods of time.
